overview
ONSO is a body-care brand identity and campaign inspired by the slow, restorative ritual of Japanese bathing. The name nods to the onsen, the mineral-rich hot springs where bathing is less about routine and more about pausing, and the collection is built around that same idea: care as a quiet moment.
I developed the brand identity, packaging and visual direction around the bubble, the simplest trace of water, cleansing and lightness. Three overlapping circles form the logo, echoing the bubbles that rise in a bath and the way the products are designed to work together as one ritual. The navy-to-powder-blue gradient on the frosted glass reflects water deepening from the surface, while the ivory marble caps reference the natural stone of traditional bathhouses. Across the campaign, the bubble returns as a recurring motif, from floating soap bubbles in soft sunlight to lather on skin, tying every image back to the brand's core promise: the art of slowing down.
